A superb opportunity has emerged for a generic neighbourhood officer to join one of London's highest performing housing association clients in a temporary booking which will be full time for 35 hours per week.

Based in East London, our client anticipates an initial 3 month temporary contract with an expected interview date week commencing 3/12/18. This is a generic role covering all aspects of housing and the successful candidate will be required to handle anti-social behaviour case management queries too. This will be based on incoming queries raised by tenants with regards to the local area.

The client is keen to recruit a tenancy management specialist with strong experience in:

* Providing the main point of local contact with tenants and leaseholders by receiving and acting upon tenants and leaseholders complaints.
* Transferring tenancies in routine cases, in accordance with relevant organisational policy.
* Investigating and recommending management transfers, preparing reports for Housing Managers where appropriate.
* Carrying out accompanied viewings and signing of new tenancies ensuring all necessary documentation and records are produced.
* Advising new tenants of the provisions of the tenancy agreement, local facilities and the proper use of appliances and installations.
* Issuing orders for routine repair work in accordance with company procedures including pre and post inspections and the checking of invoices.

Tenancy queries will range from processing service care queries and tenancy amendments to joint tenancies and mutual exchanges. They will need access to a vehicle, so will need a full UK driving licence.
