A superb opportunity has emerged for a specialist Letting Negotiator to join one of our largest Local Authority Clients in London in a temporary assignment lasting for 3 months initially.

Based in West London, this is a full time role (35 hours per week) and the client is looking for the successful candidate to:

*Ensure that the gathering of information required for the advertising of vacant properties efficiently and effectively from Registered Providers is well coordinated.
*Discharge duty if appropriate where a statutory duty exists and an offer of accommodation is made, if the offer is refused and an appeal lost.
*Attend court, where necessary, to give evidence or instruct solicitors where legal action involves re-housing issues.
*Undertake training other Neighbourhood staff in aspects of lettings policy, procedures and the bidding process.
*Carry out the review of offers refused in conjunction with the Lettings Coordinator.
*Assist in the preparation of aspects of information literature on the Housing Allocations policy and procedure.
*Contribute to re-housing events where re-housing policy is displayed or explained to our customers
*Develop and lead on, where appropriate, specific re-housing related projects and initiatives.
*Carry out systems audit to ensure that data is being input into LOCATA system promptly and accurately and that procedures are being followed.
*Lead on the production and review of the Lettings Manuals for staff and promotional material for stakeholders.
*Provide regular & detailed performance management information of offers made and accepted.
