Badenoch & Clark's NHS client in the North-West of England is currently recruiting for a contract IT Project Manager to play a significant part in their impending implementation of a new core clinical IT system. They require a project manager to lead on the integration and interfacing elements of the system implementation prior to go-live, guaranteeing that information flows smoothly between the new system being implemented and all other existing systems. The contract is to start ASAP, will last 4-6 months initially, and rates are negotiable between £300-£450 per day.

As part of a wider IM&T Programme and Project Management function, the successful Project Manager will be tasked with managing the successful delivery of all interfacing and integration elements of the new clinical system's implementation to make sure that it successfully works in connection with a wide range of other systems (PAS, Pharmacy, A&E, GP systems, etc). The client has technical teams in place so aren't necessarily looking for a HL7 integration / interface consultant with detailed understanding of integration engines, but more of a PM who is relevantly tech savvy and can translate the technical needs into a well run project

The client has already done the specification and design stages of their interfacing requirements, so needs a PM to oversee and organise the builds, testing, deployment and cutover stages. The successful candidate will also be managing internal relationships between tech teams, clinical services, the third party system supplier and with 3rd party integration consultancies.

In order to be considered, candidates will be highly skilled project managers who have an understanding of technical elements of system interfacing within the healthcare sector, but also those who possess a wider knowledge of patient and information flows across different areas of healthcare provision.

This is an exciting and highly rewarding contract that is available to start immediately, so please apply now for immediate consideration.
