This is an excellent opportunity for a data protection lawyer to take ownership of a newly created role. The company is a market leader in their field and very well regarded in the West Midlands region.

The Role

- Supporting the legal function providing advice on data protection and privacy requirements
- Leading the companies strategy regarding data protection compliance working with both internal and external counsel ensuring risk is mitigated at all times
- Liaising with senior stakeholders on complex issues
- Provide solid legal advice to a variety of business functions

The Candidate

- Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years PQE
- Strong knowledge relating to data protection
- Ideally trained at a leading law firm and experience working in-house
- Able to communicate complicated technical knowledge clearly to stakeholders
- Confident working on their own initiative and as part of a team
