HR Risk & Governance Consultant
Based in Birmingham
Paying up to £50k + 10% Completion Bonus
Initial 6 Month FTC - Potentially to go permanent

The Badenoch & Clark HR are working with a renowned private sector business that is looking for an experienced HR Risk & Governance Consultant to join their established HR team based in Birmingham. You will have the responsibility of the co-ordination of the business risk management framework with adherence to the HR Governance Frameworks, methodologies oversight of HR/People risk, risk mitigation's and associated controls.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all operational processes within HR and the HR Outsource/Suppliers comply with company, regulatory and legislative requirements.

What you will be doing?
* To ensure that HR processes, documentation and templates comply with legislative and regulatory standards.
* To represent HR as the in the discharge of responsibilities for HR & People Risk within the function, co-ordinating regular reviews and embedding across the function, ensuring all key accountabilities of the champion role are met.
* Undertakes and participates in the review of Group HR Policy and the dissemination of information through appropriate frameworks, to ensure alignment with service delivery models.
* Responsible for undertaking a robust Payroll Reconciliation process for all employee payrolls, ensuring the timely submission for appropriate sign off.
* To ensure all specialist administration services are provided in line with HR, business and regulatory requirements, Including to Right to Work, Vetting, Reward, Approved Persons and Solvency documentation standards.
* To lead on all matters relating to Right to Work Legislation, overseeing the process governance and liaison with external advisors.
* Monitor and maintain the HR Governance Framework and other associated Frameworks to ensure they continually demonstrate the current operating environment and that they are compliant with any legislative and regulatory change
* To represent HR as the Information Security Champion, supporting the department head in delivering local information security controls as required by business policy and standards.

* Capable of seeing the "big picture" but a character that move to action quickly.
* Personal commitment to high quality and accuracy
