HR Advisor

A fantastic job opportunity has arisen for a HR Advisor to join one of our largest Public sector client in a permanent position.

Salary range: £30k to £32k per annum

Based in South West London, this is a full time role (36 hours per week, Monday to Friday).


Purpose of the role:

* Provide Advisory, Administrative and other support to the HRBP
* Be the first point of contact for all HR queries
* Work closely with colleagues supporting the provision of a high-quality HR Service
* Represent the service positively both internally and externally
* Work collaboratively with other services and suppliers as required
* Promote and facilitate positive employee relations, workforce flexibility and clear focus on delivery of services

Functional

* To deal effectively with HR issues including but not limited to the management of sickness absence, disciplinary and grievances onboarding and exiting process.
* To provide support and advice to managers on ER issues.
* To administer the HR/Pay system (including updates) in order to create prompt and accurate application of HR procedures, and to achieve correct administration of all HR/Pay data amendments.
* To ensure employee records are up to date on the HR system and on employee personal files
* To provide administrative support to the recruitment, appointment and leavers processes.
* To achieve accuracy and proper control of employee data on HR/Pay system, and in personnel files.
* To actively contribute to the HR team, making constructive suggestions for change.
* Gain a working knowledge of by understanding the companies process and procedures and also having knowledge and understanding of relevant employment legislation (e.g. contracts of employment, DBS code, maternity entitlements).
* Run reports and provide management information from the HR/Pay system as required.
* To work flexibly to ensure that priorities are achieved.
