An exciting opportunity has emerged for a specialist Housing Register Officer to join one of our key London based Local Authorities in a temporary role for the next 3-6 months.

Based in East London, this is a full time role (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday) and the client is keen to recruit a candidate with previous experience of:

*Housing Register (Part VI) assessment experience.
*Experience in assessment and verification of documents in order to ascertain an Applicant's eligibility to join Hackney Housing Register Waiting list .
*Ability to carry out home visits in order fully complete verification as and when required
*Carrying out thorough homelessness investigations.
*Part 7 of the Housing Act/The Homelessness Act 2002/Localism Act 2011.
*Immigration rules including EU national regulations.
*Prioritising work load in order to keep caseload to an optimum.
