The Global Process Manager will be responsible for the transformation of the Record-to-Report function to lead and deliver process standardisation and optimisation for all activities in scope that are efficient, effective and organisationally compliant, leading effective day-to-day operation of the process at a global level for all shared service record-to-report processes. (R2R) with key focus on Trial Balance and Balance sheet reconciliation, identifying and ensuring all open and aged items are understood, backed up and minimised, monitoring inventory and providing variance analysis, calculating revenue and WIP in line with organisational policy and managing and taking a lead role in the explanation and review of period end close and the balance sheet reviews within the monthly governance calls
Overseeing a Team of 11 with global presence, the ideal candidate will be a real problem solver with the ability to lead a project, migrating data from 7 ERP systems into one.
Highly motivated in the delivery and understanding of robust processes, designs for global markets and hold a proven record working and devolving Global Business Operational processes that deliver improved controls, compliance, reporting and efficiencies.
Leads improvements in performance globally through implementing best practice, undertaking process transformation and implementing strategic technology changes that will deliver efficient and effective processes
Review and maintain strong controls ensuring that all GDPR and other statutory requirements are adhered to
Key skills required include:
Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience with significant, practical experience of the Record to Report process and for a global organisation preferred
Knowledge of US & UK GAAP preferred
Demonstrable ability to engage and manage different level stakeholders and multicultural audience/s through superior communication and presentation skills
Proven ability to deal with and manage conflict
Demonstrable ability to manage multi-layered project/s with inter-dependencies
Evidence of delivering strong results and process improvements in a fast-moving environment
