Badenoch & Clark are currently working with a highly successful charitable organisation in Brighton to recruit a Finance officer.

We are looking for a proven Finance officer to support the smooth functioning of all finance matters.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations for all accounts.

* Complete all purchase ledger requirements.

* Liaise with departments to finalise weekly and monthly banking and credit card journals.

* Produce expenditure analysis and undertake investigation of significant variances against budget and the prior year.

* Prepare and submit VAT returns and CIS returns.

Ideal candidates will have:

* Part-qualified with at least two years experience of working in a financial position.

* Understanding of VAT.

* Strong Excel skills desirable

* Exceptional communications skills across all levels.
