Badenoch and Clark are working with a key client of ours to recruit an adaptable accountant, to join a newly created Finance Business Partnering team. This role would be an excellent opportunity for someone making their first or second move into Business Partnering, with clear development opportunities within the business.

Our client is very flexible on the background of the candidate, but personality is a MUST.

The role is to assist the Senior Finance Business Partner in delivering the internal customer facing Finance function, helping ensure financial resources are planned, managed and reported. This role will also assist in providing financial support to projects and activities provided across the business by operational specialists.

Responsibilities:
To assist in delivering the monthly accounts reporting process, producing accurate and timely financial information to the Senior Finance Business Partner and to budget holders.
To assist in the budgeting, forecasting and financial planning process for regional and specialist services to support strategic and operational objectives, value for money and customer and neighbourhood services.
To assist in providing the finance service for specialist housing services.
To assist in providing financial support for colleagues with business objective and innovation projects providing financial information and a 'can do' attitude.
To assist in providing a link between the analysis of data and other teams. Provide data assurance to ensure that information decisions are made at the right level.
To support the Finance Business Partner Manager in identifying, building and developing an extensive network of external contacts to keep abreast of best practice and bench marking to deliver efficiency's, improvements and value for money.
To provide line management and leadership to the assistant management accountant, managing resources to ensure that objectives are achieved.

The Candidate:
Must hold a recognised accountancy qualification, or be actively studying towards on. Study support is provided to actively studying employees.
Must have previous experience working in a customer faced role.
Must have previous experience working within a Business Partnering team.
Must have excellent communication skills.
Must have excellent knowledge of IT/excel.
Must be commercially driven.
