A superb opportunity has emerged for an Enforcement Officer to work in West London in a temporary role for the next three roles.

Based in Uxbridge, the purpose of the role is to carry out a wide range of investigation and enforcement duties in respect to the private rented housing sector, premises in multiple occupations providing a high quality customer focused service to residents and elected members.

Duties of the role include:

Resolving complaints, carrying out environmental enforcement and providing technical advice. Providing a high quality customer focused service to residents and elected members, resolving complaints, carrying out environmental enforcement and providing technical advice.

Demonstrating a full understanding of the client's Customer Care Standards and ensuring that these standards are met in order to deliver the clients vision of putting our residents first.

Assisting in the induction and training of peers and new employees.

Carrying out risk based assessments of premises in multiple-occupation, taking appropriate enforcement actions to resolve safety/condition concerns or breeches in license conditions within performance target.

Progressing applications received for the licensing of premises in multiple occupations within performance targets and deadlines.

Justifying and recommending to senior management a range of legal actions when appropriate, and producing accurate and detailed case files for prosecution purposes, meeting the required standard of evidence.

Effectively and rapidly resolving complaints, responding to requests for information, advice, assistance, guidance from other teams and stakeholders e.g. police, Planning, Highways, Social Care, Tenancy Services, other housing providers public and private, FOI.

Being able to conduct HMO/HMO Licensing & HHSRS inspections.

Understanding the regulations relating to enforcement and improving standards in the private rented sector.
