I am working with a leading Housing Association looking to recruit a Principal Dev Ops Engineer on a permanent basis. The role is based in the heart of London and is looking to pay up to £75,000 per annum.

You will have strong skills in microservices, 'DevOps' and reusableWeb Components to help the organisation improve, develop and evolve. Whether it's a customer app or a system integration, you'll be involved in all elements of the software development life cycle.

As the Principal DevOps Engineer you'll help solve complex technical problems, and work as part of a highly skilled team to build great things. Reporting to the Business Solutions Manager you'll be responsible for ensuring our residents are able to access a range of online services anywhere, anytime on our online portal, developed on Microsoft's Azure platform.

You will lead on the design and implementation of application builds and releases, deployments and configuration activities. You'll find yourself working on a wide range of projects, work with the latest technologies, providing strategic technical advice and complete software delivery automation solutions.

The successful candidate will have experience within a similar facing role, as well as having exposure to the following technologies and methodologies:

*Experience of using Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS)
*Substantial experience of creating PowerShell scripts, developing Azure components (including Azure Resource Manager), and Service Fabric
*Good working knowledge of AppInsights and/or other monitoring tools
*Experience of configuring cloud based Domain Name Servers (DNS) and
*Active Directory (e.g. Active Directory Proxy)
*Experience of using Confluence to manage project documentation
*Experience of using Jira to manage assigned tasks, sprints and backlogs
*Experience of domain driven development
*Experience of working within an Agile and Serum team.
*Experience of working in/delivering within the Prince 2 project management methodology
