Our client based in West London is looking to recruit a new Council Tax and Housing Benefit telephone customer service officer.

This is an interim role which will last for 3 months initially.

You will need to have experience of:

*Providing a comprehensive and in depth telephone service for council tax and housing benefit/council tax support enquiries.
*Ensuring that all contacts receive a good customer experience, in a professional, timely and courteous manner at all times.
*Explaining both housing benefit/ council tax support entitlement to the customer to enable them to agree to the appropriate council tax payment arrangement.
*Accurately updating/amending accounts/claims with regard to agreed procedures.
*Facilitating and promoting the use of online services to Ealing residents i.e. Myaccount.

A knowledge of the Iworld / Northgate system is essential.
