An exciting opportunity has arisen with a private trading company set up by one of our Local Authority clients for the construction and sale of houses as they look to build the business. The company is in the process of establishing a new management structure and they will be looking to appoint a Chief Operating Officer on an interim basis initially.

The company has huge potential and following the success of an initial pilot they are looking to focus on expansion and growth. Contractual relationships are already established, show homes are built and the first homes are up for sale.

The company now needs the right strategic leadership to take the business forward from roughly 1000 homes to around 5000.

The appointed person will be responsible for the operational running of the business, will need to successfully work with partners and shareholders and manage a small-medium team including performance management.

Experience in commercial development in a private sector company or Housing Association is essential with Health & Safety and Governance experience also being required.

This role will be an initial 6-9 months, to start as soon as possible.
