Badenoch & Clark are currently working with their large Public Sector client to secure a Business Analyst on an initial contract until the end of January next year.

The successful Business Analyst will work as part of a project team helping implement a new HR/Payroll system within the organisation, with a clear focus on the 'to-be' processes.

Key duties:

- Develop and evaluate 'To Be' operational business processes
- From existing 'To Be' processes for UAT and input to training material, develop and present processes and identify opportunities to enhance processes
- Liaise with Workstream Leads and key business stakeholders to coordinate process design activities
- Collect information and evaluate it in the alignment of Programme's goals
- Communicate with staff at all levels to progress the process development activities
Adhere to plans/timescales that contain project goals, milestones, and resources
- Provide weekly reports indicating progress, risks and issues

Skills/Knowledge Requirements:

- Have good knowledge of business modeling terminology
- Have working knowledge of all or some of the following functional processes' Purchase to Pay; Sales to Cash (including Debt Recovery), Finance (Bank Rec, Capital Projects, Financial Planning and general core functions); core HR, transactional HR & Payroll
- Have working experience and knowledge of MS Visio, including the use of swimlanes
- Have a working knowledge of Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN2) - a 'lite' version is being used on the programme
- Have excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to listen.
- Be a team player, able to identify where 'To Be' processes will impact on or inform other work within the Business Transformation team and the wider programme
- Have experience in business process design and meeting facilitation
- Showcase good analytical and modelling skills
