Badenoch & Clark's public sector client within Greater Manchester currently has an exciting opportunity available for a new contractor Business Analyst within their Project Management Office function. This opportunity has arisen due to an influx of exciting projects that need delivering over the coming months across a wide range of business functions. The initial contract will be for three months, rates are negotiable (but will ideally fall between £300-£350 per day) and the role is to start as soon as possible.

Our client has a fast developing and growing Project Management Office function that supports a wide range of projects within the organisation, across all corporate functions (including HR, Procurement, IT, Finance and Communications). Due to an increase in project requirements they wish to recruit an additional Business Analyst to work across a number of project workstreams. These projects could range from new technology implementations to corporate service re-design, so will offer a lot of variety for the successful candidate.

The ideal candidate will have skills / experience in the following areas:

- Business Process Analysis
- Solution Designs
- AS IS - TO BE Analysis
- User engagement and benefits realisation
- Project Governance
- High-level communication and presentation skills at Board level.
- Knowledge / experience of working within an established PMO function to Project Methodologies such as Prince2.
- Experience of working within the public sector would be advantageous, but is not essential.
