A fantastic opportunity has emerged for a Building Maintenance Inspector to join one of Badenoch and Clark's most improved Local Government clients in a temporary role for the next three months.

Based in South-West London, this is a full time role for 36 hours per week and our client is keen to take on a candidate with experience of/in:

*Providing technical reports and expertise on repair matters.
*Investigating and taking appropriate action over repairs related matters within a defined local area, liaising with residents, contractors and other agencies.
*Preparing and issuing repair orders for works, checking invoices and post-inspecting samples.
*Attending accompanied viewings, providing prospective tenants with relevant information about the property and advising on the proper installation and use of appliances.
*Responsible for inspecting and providing condition reports for properties subject to mutual exchange and house purchase grants.
*Responsible for keeping accurate property records.
*Make recommendations to the Building Maintenance Manager for properties to be included in the external decorations and capital repairs programme and complete the appropriate formal referral.

Strong knowledge of Section 20 notices is an important part of this role, and having a BTEC qualification would be useful, but not essential.
