A great opportunity has risen in a local authority in Essex for an Anti Social Behaviour Officer. The duration of the role is for three months. There is a possibility that the contract can be extended but this will be based on how you perform within the role.

The effective case work of serious anti-social behaviour covering domestic abuse, hate and violent crime across Essex social and commercially managed housing stock using a broad range of interventions including the legal framework in a victim focused environment.

You will need the following experience to be suitable for this role:

1.Excellent knowledge and use of the powers under the ASB, Police and Crime Act 2014;
2.Taking of statements and preparing evidence for court and attending court where necessary; Gathering evidence and applying for injunctions (with and without notice);
3.Gathering evidence and applying for closure notices;
4.Drafting and serving NOSPs and NTQs and progressing to possession hearings where necessary; Safeguarding and MARAC; working in partnership with other agencies;
5.Housing management functions and Housing legislation.
