At Badenoch & Clark and the wider Adecco Group, we value the unique differences each colleague, candidate, client and other business partners contribute to our company and work hard to create and maintain a culture that’s respectful, accessible and forward thinking. Through integrating individual strengths across a diverse platform, we aim to maximise efficiency and productivity and therefore deliver value across our business.
Our Diversity and Inclusion strategy and initiatives are led from the top, with our Group Executive Board addressing an agenda that spans gender, age, disability, ethnicity, sexual orientation and agility of the modern workplace.
Our professional partnerships also help to drive forward our commitment to diversity and inclusion:
Each year, Badenoch & Clark take part in ‘Great Place to Work Best Workplaces Awards’ – with the methodology including a ‘trust index employee survey’ and a culture audit conducted by the Great Place to Work team. Badenoch & Clark is proud of our affiliation with the awards and is pleased to release our 2017 diversity & inclusion scores – marked out of 100:
People here are treated fairly regardless of their age: 88
People here are treated fairly regardless of their race or ethnicity: 93
People here are treated fairly regardless of their sex: 92
People here are treated fairly regardless of their sexual orientation: 94
People here are treated fairly regardless of their physical or mental disabilities: 93
UK legislation sets minimum standards which cover age, disability, race, gender, sexual orientation – among others, but an effective and efficient diversity & inclusion strategy goes beyond compliance and adds real commercial value to an organisation. Given its growing importance to organisations, we recently conducted research of 2,000 UK employees across both the private and public sector on how inclusive they believe their organisations to be. Additionally, we looked at the key strategies and leading best practice that employers can implement to help organisations stand out from the competition in the war for talent.
As a result, we are pleased to announce that our research findings, entitled ‘Inspiring inclusion in the workplace’, will be available w/c 19th June. Please revisit our website then to download the material.
