Salary£50,000- £55,000 (plus London Weighting)

Our exceptional Central London-based Client is looking for two experienced Solution Architects to join their organisation at an exciting time. You will join their organisation as they move their IT to the Cloud and aid them with their Shared Service Architecture. As well as being responsible for the coherent design, build and implementation of the organisation's application and infrastructure systems. You will support the Head of Business Architecture and Operational Improvement and Head of ICT Solutions in the development of technical strategy and in the delivery of their continuous improvement programme.

*Manage the coherent design, build, and implementation of the application and infrastructure systems.
*Take ownership of the technical aspects of the client's continuous improvement agenda.
*Architect and document technical solutions that are aligned with client's business objectives
*Provide key technical input into the formulation of the client's longer term technology strategy,
*Be responsible in ensuring any proposed solutions are aligned to meet business needs and support the end-to-end business processes and meet the client's architectural principles.
*Engage with the IT managed service supplier and 3rd parties to elaborate requirements (functional and non-functional) at a technical level.
*Manage the technical delivery of changes to the client systems ensuring that solutions meet the business requirements and provide the necessary quality (functional and non-functional).
*Responsible for the management and development of key delivery artefacts such as functional specifications, technical specifications, data migration plans, interface specifications, development plans, test plans.
*Manage and facilitate technical level discussions with a number of different internal teams and external 3rd parties.
*Manage the provision of technical input to the Change Control process in assessing impacts, possible solutions as well as assessing responses from 3rd party IT suppliers.
*Manage the Business Application Analyst Support Function, ensuring that developments to the current solution architecture are in line with the client's architecture principles.
*The provision of guidance and ongoing training to the Business Application Analyst Support Function.
*Provide application and technical subject matter expertise.
*Liaise with the Security Manager to ensure changes and solutions adhere to strict security requirements.
Relevant Knowledge, Skills and Experience
*Significant experience managing activities to design, build, implement, maintain and improve ICT solutions and services involving 3rd party suppliers.
*Demonstrable experience liaising with the business and 3rd party service providers to translate business requirements into design, build and test artefacts.
*Looking at Shared Service Architecture
*Strong understanding of Cloud platform
*Application Data Modelling
*Experience building solutions to support on-line delivery of services to customers and case management systems.
*Significant experience in delivering solutions utilising web services and other open integration standards.
*Experience in design and development of enterprise systems as part of a complete software product lifecycle.
*Significant experience in the development of technical strategy.
*Demonstrable experience of development models and methodologies in particular around the agile approach.
*Significant experience of the line management of technical teams Excellent and well proven oral and written communication skills and a capacity to work with a wide range of people.
*Excellent interpersonal and activity management skills.
*Ability to act under own initiative and constantly strive to deliver excellence in your work.
*Experience building solutions providing solutions with an online self service element.
*Experience of moving IT to the Cloud
*Significant demonstrable experience with the following technologies:
oMS SharePoint
oMS Exchange
oBizTalk Middleware - interfacing to multiple 3rd party systems
oMicrosoft SQL Server
oMS Lync - Integration and Implementation
oTechnology Standards: XML, XSLT, Web Services, SOAP, etc.
*Demonstrable experience in software development utilising a COTS product set.
*Software development tools including configuration management
