Major global multi billion market leader in IT Services requires Senior Legal Counsel to manage a portfolio of deals in the Public Sector arena which are all up for competitive tender in the next 1-2 years.

In addition to managing the standard "BAU" (business as usual) on arrival, the Senior Legal Counsel will play a lead role as the Legal representative on the Commercial Bid team to maximise the hit rate and profitability for multiple deals over the next 2 years, each of which has a value of over £100m revenue for the business. The Senior Legal Counsel will therefore be able to make a significant and tangible difference to the performance of the division through their actions in the foreseeable future.

As such, appropriate applicants to this Senior Legal Counsel role must be both experts in the field of complex, multi million IT Outsourcing and IT Service deals and possess the interpersonal credibility to work internally with the various other Directors and Senior Stakeholders and externally as the Legal face of the organisation to the external clients.

You must therefore be able to demonstrate a successful track record of winning / managing contracts with Public Sector customers (MOD / Defence, Home Office, Central Government, Security Services etc) on your CV when applying and then display the gravitas required in the selection process to be successful in securing this amazing opportunity.
