Our Client is a Leading Investment Bank looking for an experience Pensions Associate to join their Pensions and Benefits team supporting the management of multiple Defined Benefits and Defined Contribution pension plans.

12 Month Contract - £300 per day!

Responsibilities
*Working with the outsourced pensions administrator to ensure the smooth running of the scheme and all reporting, audit and data processes are met.
*Responding to complex member queries the outsourced administrator is unable to address.
*Acting as a point of coordination between the plan actuaries and plan consultants, ensuring they meet the Bank and Trustee requirements.
*Managing liaison between the vendor, HR and the plan Trustees around member queries and Trustee discretions.
*Managing all pension invoicing for Trustee and Bank pensions vendors and working with finance and the consultants to monitor Trustee and bank spend.
*Supporting pensions projects such as on-line pension statements production and the development of the on-line members retirement portal.
*Co-ordination of Trustee meetings, including meeting scheduling, agenda collation and action management.
*Supporting HR shared services and HR generalists on individual member and pension policy questions.

Ideal Candidate
*At least 3 - 5 years of experience in either in-house or in a consultancy role.
*Is in the process of or has studied for PMI examinations.
*Has a good technical understanding of both defined benefits and defined contributions plans, and is familiar with current legislative changes e.g. Pensions Tax Allowances and Auto Enrolment.
*Experience of working with outsourced Pension Plan administrators and Trustee advisors.
*Good communication skills; is able to communicate pensions simply to members and non-pensions specialists.
*Is highly organized and numerate, and is used to working on multiple projects in a busy team.
*Has good Microsoft Office skills including Excel at an intermediate level. Experience of Ariba would be an advantage.
