A superb opportunity has emerged for a Neighbourhood Housing Officer to join one of Greater London's highest performing local authority clients in a temporary booking which will be full time for 35 hours per week.

Based in Isleworth in West London (not far from Heathrow Airport), our client anticipates an initial 3 month contract with an expected interview date week commencing 9/10/17. This is a generic role covering all aspects of housing and the successful candidate will be required to handle anti-social behaviour case management queries, as well as rent arrears which is a major part of this role. This will be based on incoming queries raised by tenants and local authorities with regards to the local area.

The client is keen to recruit a tenancy management specialist with strong experience in:

* Providing the main point of local contact with tenants and leaseholders by receiving and acting upon tenants and leaseholders complaints.
* Transferring tenancies in routine cases, in accordance with relevant Council policy.
* Investigating and recommending management transfers, preparing reports for Area Housing Manager/Senior Estate Managers where appropriate.
* Carrying out accompanied viewings and signing of new tenancies ensuring all necessary documentation and records are produced.
* Advising new tenants of the provisions of the tenancy agreement, local facilities and the proper use of appliances and installations.
* Issuing orders for routine repair work in accordance with Council procedures including pre and post inspections and the checking of invoices.
* Clearing rent arrears

Tenancy queries that will range from processing service care queries, tenancy amendments, joint tenancies and mutual exchanges. The candidate will also be required to spend much of their week travelling between sites in the local area, a majority of which will be office based. Please note, this role needs an Enhanced DBS, but a car driver is not essential as the patch can be covered by foot. Badenoch & Clark is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy. Badenoch & Clark is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a registered Disability Symbol User.
