Recruitment Consultant

A fantastic job opportunity has arisen for a HR Advisor to join one of our largest Local Authority clients in a temporary assignment for three months initially (with every possibility of an extension should the successful candidate perform well).

Based in Berkshire, this is a full time role (36 hours per week, Monday to Friday).
Purpose of the role:
Successful candidate will be at the heart of the 21st Century Transformation Programme. The successful applicants will provide HR expertise and support throughout the end to end restructure process to help identify staff with the required skills, knowledge and behaviours required to deliver against the Councils new ways of working.
Main responsibilities include:
*Development of JD's and Job Evaluation
*Assimilation and matching process
*121 consultation meetings
*Shortlisting and robust Competency Based Interview Selection & Assessment process
*Communicating outcomes
*Management of displaced staff
*Providing HR expertise and advice across a range of people related issues associated with restructures and redundancies
*Identifying practical solutions, ensuring they understand the options available to them * The implementation of HR policies
*Undertake appeal hearings
* Level A & B Assessor trained in "Wave" would be advantageous, though not essential
