Head of Policy
Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week
Up to £70,000 per annum +bens

Our client, a well known business in the Warwickshire area and increasingly in their market, is looking to recruit a Head of Policy for their business.

The role will sit within the HR function, rewriting policies and implementing a market competitive reward package for all staff to reflect the companies continued success and rapid growth.

Key duties:

Design, implement and maintain innovative people, employment and reward policies
Ensure HR policy, procedure and practice is consistent with legislative requirements
Ensuring policy can be, and is, properly implemented
Provide consultancy and advice to the HR team, managers and employees where appropriate
Lead the annual pay and bonus review
Lead the provision of training and communication to ensure employment and reward practice meets policy expectations

The ideal candidate:

Expert in employment law and practice with knowledge of broader EU employment law/environment
Clear understanding of emerging reward practice
Knowledge of job and organisation design methodologies
Ability to lead and deliver change and adoption of new practice through others with strong influencing and communication preference, skill and impact
Ability to successfully communicate legislative and policy changes including drafting policies, procedures and associated employment documentation
Strong commercial acumen any ability to apply it in an HR context
An academic accreditation with employment law as a specialism - such as employment law diploma, Master's Degree or advanced CIPD study
